Lincoln the Circuit Rider is a full day trip from Springfield to Bloomington on the 8th Judicial Circuit exploring the history of the famous circuit rider. Enjoy historical commentary by a special guest speaker for the day to educate and amuse on Lincoln’s life as a circuit rider. Take in visits to the Long Nine Museum, the Postville Courthouse, and the Mt. Pulaski courthouse, the only original courthouse still standing that Lincoln practiced in. Also visit the McClean County History Museum and the Judge David Davis home. Learn about Lincoln’s court cases and circuit experiences that shaped a future president.
